Stinoe

Stinoe fand so gegen 1990 zum damals noch unbekannten HipHop als er die Show Yo!MTV Raps im Fernsehen sah. Stark geprägt durch deren Videos und bekannte Filme wie BEATSTREET oder Whos the Man glitt er so langsam in die Graffiti-Szene Berlins. Durch Mundpropaganda bekam er heraus wo sich die Szene so am Wochenende traf wie z.b. die einmal im Monat stattfindende RAGTOP-HipHop-Party im lichtenberger Club Linse. Dort sah er auch zum ersten Mal die Phänomene B-Boying und DJ-ing live. Vor allem DJ-ing fand bei ihm großes Interesse. 1996 kaufte er sich eigene Turntables. Bei einer Graffiti-Jam 1997 in der Linse wurde er durch Freunde mit Rolle bekannt gemacht. Man verstand sich auf Anhieb da man die gleichen Interessen pflegte. Nach einigen Gigs der Beiden in Clubs wie die marzahner Klinke oder das Roxy´s in Hellersdorf lernte Stinoe Stoned Fingers kennen. Durch ihn hatte er die Chance im köpenicker Club All aufzulegen. Stoned Fingers zeigte ihm dass es zu jedem HipHop-track auch ein gesampletes Original gibt und dass man diese auch im Club zusammen spielen kann. Angespornt durch diese Erkenntnis ging Stinoe in Plattenläden wie den legendären Soultrade-Recordstore in Schöneberg einkaufen. Dort traf er auf Resoul. Er half Stinoe bei der Suche nach Platten und gab ihm Tipps im HipHop-, Funk- und Soulbereich. Dadurch entstand eine enge Freundschaft. Stinoes Vorlieben sind auch heute noch Oldschool- und Trueschool-HipHop sowie Funk- und Soulbreaks. Ab und an kann man ihn zusammen mit Rolle, Resoul und Stoned Fingers in Clubs wie dem Cassiopeia, Cafe Moskau oder dem Bohannon in Berlin-Mitte begutachten.

Stinoe came to Hip Hop around 1990 when watching the Yo! MTV-Rap Show. Influenced by the music-videos and public films like "Beatstreet" or " Whos the man" he glided into Berlins graffiti scene by and by. To verbal propaganda he found out where meetings of the scene take place, such as the Ragtop Hip Hop parties in the "Linse"-Club at East-Berlins district Lichtenberg every month. Here he came into contact with B-Boying and DJ-ing for the first time, especially the latter revived his interest. In 1996 he bought his own turntables. During a graffiti jam in the "Linse"-Club he was made known with Rolle by friends in 1997. Cuz of their same interests they liked eatch other at the first go. After several gigs in clubs like the "Klinke" in Berlin-Marzahn or the "Roxys" in Berlins district Hellersdorf Stinoe got to know Stoned Fingers, who wangled gigs in the club "All" in Berlin-Köpenick for him. Moreover he shows Stinoe, that every Hip Hop track has a sampled original, which can be played together. Motivated by these realization he went to record stores like the legendary "Soultrade Recordstore" in Berlin-Schöneberg, where he met Resoul. He helped Stinoe by searching for records an gave him tips in the Hip Hop-, Soul- and Funk-sphere. Thereby a friendship came into being. Today Stinoes preferences are Oldschool, Trueschool Hip Hop as well as Funk- and Soulbreaks. Every now and then you can see him next to Rolle, Resoul and Stoned Fingers in clubs like " Cassiopeia", "Café Moskau" or "Bohannon" in the centre of Germanys capital.
