I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm roughly symmetrical. I have dark blonde hair and light blue eyes. I have a tattoo on the back of my head. I've not been convicted of any felonies. I have not illegitimately fathered any surviving children. I do not currently have any pets. If I'm, let's say, bending over to pick up a dime- I don't expose a plumber's crack. I know how to read and write. Sorry won't bring my father back.

My Interests

I'm interested in international indigenous rights, role-playing games, euchre, and off-beat movies. No, really, I am.

I'd like to meet:

Any who suck the wet farts out of dead pigeons are automatically in the "no" list. Anyone else is fair game.

Music:

I really appreciate Front Line Assembly, Delerium, Juno Reactor, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Radiohead, Portishead, and Sasha and Digweed. I tend to appreciate progressive trance and electronic industrial. I'm a big fan of Jazz and the Blues but I'm not familiar with specific artists. Oh yeah, the MidWest Killaz are okay.

Movies:

Here's a list in no particular order: Contact, Bob Roberts, The Lord of the Rings trillogy, Pootie Tang, AI, The Princess Bride, 28 Days Later, The Dancer Upstairs, Nightfall (I think that's what it's called, it's about a Cuban poet/author), Season of the Butterflies, that one Bjork movie where she works in a factory and sings all the time, and Star Wars (episodes 4-6)

Television:

I don't watch hardly any television but I have recently discovered the joys of watching entire seasons on DVD so here's my list: Jeremiah, The West Wing, Black Adder, X-Files, Cowboy Bebop, and Mr. Show

Books:

This list is by no means exhaustive: Flowers for Algernon, The Gashlycrum Tinies, Everyone Poops, The Epiplectic Bicycle, Koori: A Will to Win, Siddhartha, Hyperspace, Tao Te Ching, The Tao of Pooh, the Deathgate Cycle, and (magazines to follow...) Foreign Policy, Discovery, and Popular Science

Heroes:

Dootch Kennedy, Robert Judd, Bob Smith, & Pootie Tang

social justice advocacy

Organizing for social justice is fulfilling but nega-lucrative. In fact, not only do you actually lose money by doing it, you make it harder to find a job! Oh well, like that saying in Tennessee or ...

Well, since February I've changed my post-college plans. I'm moving to Urbana in July where I'll live for a year or so while I build my own private army of distempered lower primates. In light of re...
