Welcome to my personal myspace site. I am trying to figure out how this thing works, so please be patient for more updates.
I am the main songwriter and founder (and also fulfill the role of vocalist/guitarist) of the dutch dark/vikingmetal legends Slechtvalk .
Slechtvalk started out as my 4th one-man project (I'll post some more info about my other previous projects in future) and the first (and only) to release a CD (namely Falconry), which I recorded and programmed all at home using some unknown cheap mixing program (later I started using Cool edit Pro, but currently I am theorizing with Cubase in combination with orchestral samples) and the legendary tracker program: Fasttracker 2.08 .
During 2001, Slechtvalk changed from project to a 7-piece band. For a full Slechtvalk Biography, please visit the official Slechtvalk myspace site here .

Some previous projects of mine:
AscensioN/Unsummoning- A doommetal project in veins of Paramaecium & My Dying Bride, but it never really worked out: the 6 piece-formation we started with, fell apart after one month. I continued it on my own, was later joined by a friend, but after some time my interest for the musical style was diminished
Rebirth- A mixture of grindcore, deathmetal and some other stuff. There were serious plans for a 5 song demo, but due to a lack of budget at the time it was delayed. Then it was disbanded due to lack of time after the sudden succes of Slechtvalk.
Coalescence- This must have been the most weird project I ever had. I think it was metal, but I am not sure ;)
The song 'In Paradisum' we recorded for Slechtvalk on the album 'The war that plagues the lands' (2002) was originally written for Coalescence in 1998 and might be the oldest song of Slechtvalk.
