Robert Harris, better known as Vinyl, is one of Memphis’ youngest and most diverse music producers to ever hit the industry. With his genre breaking style, he has certainly stamped his imprint on the music scene in such a short period of time with a healthy love of music. Coming from a classical, yet soulful musical background, music has been a form of communication for Vinyl since he was a child. Only a few years after walking into the world of production, he has certainly forced his way into the music business by establishing his name and working with dozens of artists on both a local and a national level. As a producer, he forces every artist to work on a new level of creativity.In the earlier half of 2008, Vinyl created Red Dragon Entertainment. The company is a full-scale independent record label that specializes in the development, production, and distribution of collection of very talented artists from all genres of music. Vinyl’s leap into the music industry will be the start of a new musical revolution and a new sound for the city of Memphis. “My mission is to encourage those who have a true passion for music and to prove to the world that anything can be accomplished if you are persistent and disciplined.
