The 2007 Hot Rod Hair Kruz in will be July 14th! From 6-11pm. Cars need to be in place before 6pm for judging! You may arrive between 5-6. ***SPECTATORS PLEASE PARK AT BIMART***** Awards will be given out at 8pm. Entry will be $12 pre entry, and $15 the day of the show. For the first 100 enteries, will get a t-shirt, and the BEST gift bag ever! This year we will have the Gusto Brothers performing at 6pm and Steelhead will take the stage at 8. Yes... That's right... I'm a chick who LOVES Hot Rod Cars and Race Cars! And yes, that is me and MY car in the extra pix, and I have done most of the restoration myself. She has a long way to go...I grew up in Keizer and I am a stylist at a local salon, hence - the "hair" in Hot Rod Hair ;-) Yes I have my own personal myspace profile on here also...
The reason I have this profile is to get the word out about my car show. I helped produce the Willamette Valley Street Rod Cruise Inn 2005, Did my own show in 2006 and now looking forward to the 2nd annual Hot Rod Hair Kruz Into Keizer!!! Please help me get the word out!
Wow what a night! If you were there you know, if you missed it - you need to plan on it for 2007!
First of all a big thank you to Tom & Char Schuh of Steam Heat Coffeehouse for such a great time in 2006! Tom brought in a BBQ trailer and also the bands. And the Coffeehouse made fabulous coffee drinks and smoothies and served deserts all night long! (see their profile on my top friends list) Bluegrass was played for the first hour and a half and then Crossfire turned it up and rocked the whole parking lot until 11pm! These guys will be up on Myspace soon and these guys are awesome!
We had 54 entry's in the car show and a few others who stopped by. There was no way I could get a count on how many spectators that were there, but I can tell you that place was packed! I will post all the trophy winners soon, and put up as many pictures as I can.
