I am Elizabeth Ann Karsten ! Well, let me introduced myself...On May 28th 1984, I was welcomed to world - I was only 8 lbs and 9oz and 22 inches long. During the first three years, i was hearing , I couldn't talk, learn so much such as crawl, and walk. When I was about 3 years old, became deaf for no reason my mom called my name couple of times and I didn't hear my mom calling me soo many times ...i went outside to play with my brother and my brother called my name soo many time, i couldnt hear , he asked me are you okay lil lizzie? i told him yes iam okay so my brother told my mom abt me and my mom was worry abt me bec i couldnt hear nothing and yelled at me for not listen to her. ....so my mom did that over and over and over. So next day, my mom and dad and grandma decided to take me to the doctor to get some hearing tests. Unfortunately, the doctor found out that I am deaf. The doctor can't find how I became deaf its called "profound" ... when i was 3 yrs old , first hearing aids and i saw little battery and i did swallow the battery and my mom and grandma was FREAK out bec of battery is acid and i could be dead but my mom and grandma took me the doctor to xray to see where is it. Doctor told them dont worry it will come out when she goes to bathroom, they were laughing bec they thought i will be dead or something but it is funny .....Well, that's what I am! I am 21 years old soon will become 22 in may 28th and working 1 part time jobs.Im aheading back to college now MCTI and Im into "business classes" right now im doing processing to see where iam at , then i will go ahead to take step up anyways I'm engaged to my wonderful fiancee, Clinton for a year and half now. Wow, time is going fast right here!
