I'm back in Dallas, baby! HIP-HIP-HOORAY!!! Now what???
*** UPDATE *** 09/06
After spending one month at home following the opening of Beau Rivage, I get the phone call to return to Biloxi to help out until December. See what you get for having an impact on the client. haha!
So I am back to flying back and forth to Dallas and Biloxi. I'm back in the Beau Rivage grind with some great friends and coworkers. Looking forward to slipping away to visit my family and maybe catching a couple of Saints games in the Dome!
All that being said, I want to go on the record and say that I really miss my Dallas Stars! haha!*** END OF UPDATE ***I am a transplanted coonass. After leaving the bayou in 1995, I spent 5 years in the piney hills of Ruston, LA earning my Bachelor of Architecture degree from Louisiana Tech in 2000. From Ruston I headed west on I-20 to Dallas,TX, and I have been here ever since.Texas is certainly a unique place, and there is much more to Dallas than the usual stereotypes. If you try, you can find anything and everyone in this city. There is never a dull moment, and things are going very well in the building design industry. After I watched Katrina (via the internet) pummel the city of New Orleans, a city that I hold very near and dear to my heart, I volunteered to work one of my firm's most demanding projects ever, rebuilding a Mississippi casino in under a year. I have been relocated in Biloxi since January 4, 2006, and I am very happy to say that the project is almost complete. While I do not get to fly back to Dallas very often, I will admit that being back on the gulf has brought back some memories. I appreciate the ability to be that much closer to my family and the bayou, and make as many trips to New Orleans on the weekends as I can. I will certainly miss Biloxi after I head back to Dallas in September. In the mean time, this is as close as I can get to helping out my people.Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
