Welcome! - - - Born and raised in The Bay Area (Cali) for 29 years, I now call the Pacific Northwest home (Vancouver to be more exact). I originally moved to Lake Oswego with my sister Denee' in May of 2004. I count my blessings everyday because moving up here was the best move I could have made. It's even better now because my parents moved to Vancouver, WA. in November of 2004 and my older brother Brad made the move in August of 2005! It's perfect! I can be a litte shy and reserved at first, however once you get to know me, you'll find that I can be a great listener, good giver of advice, and an all around good person with a good heart. My passions in life are family, friends, great music, great food, and great company. I love to play Golf (I'm ranked in the Pre-Pre-Pre Amateur class), read & write poetry, go dancing, shoot pool, bowling, enjoy the outdoors, fishing. . . . Once again, welcome to my little space on the web, enjoy your stay! - - - Ryan

My Interests

Payne Stewart (1957–1999) R.I.P.
Golf, reading/writing poetry, listening to good music, experiencing new things such as going on a drive to a place I haven't been before, a new restaurant, etc.

I'd like to meet:

First and foremost, I'd like to meet good people with good hearts and good souls! - - - - Since I already got to meet, talk to, and hug Alicia Keys, I guess I can cross her off my list :-) Beyond that, I'd like to meet Robin Williams, Maya Angelou, and perhaps the Dalai Lama.

Music:

Ibrahim Ferrer (1927-2005) R.I.P.
I have a wide range of taste when it comes to Music. I like some country, the 80's, the 90's, hip-hop, r&b, neo-soul, old school jazz, some new school jazz, and have, within the last 2 years, found a strong appreciation for Salsa, Latin Jazz, and of course Cuban Jazz!

Movies:

What can I say?... I love movies! I enjoy and appreciate the classics

High Society
Arsenic & Old Lace
Look Who's Coming To Dinner

. . . and even more current day movies. My fav's of all time would have to be (in no particular order)

A Few Good Men
The Shawshank Redemption
Scent of A Woman
Return to Me
Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory
Dark Crystal
Labryinth
The DaVinci Code

well, I guess the list can just go on, and on, and on. . . .

Television:

Don't watch a whole lot of T.V., mostly watch just movies. However, I will say that I'm a huge fan of House, Ghost Whisperer (Jennifer Love Hewitt.... damn she's hot!), Numbers and occaisionally, Alias :-)

Books:

I love to read poetry. . . big fan of "The Best American Poetry of 19xx" series of books! I also loved the Autobiography of Payne Stewart written by his wife. . . you don't have to be a fan of golf to appreciate his life story! I also remember reading a murder mystery about 9 years ago called "The Night of the Juggler"... very good book! I have to admit, classics like "To Kill A Mocking Bird" & "The Grapes of Wrath" were good ones as well!

Heroes:

Without a doubt, my heroes will have to be my Mom and Dad! :-) They truly are credited with making me the man I am today. If it wasn't for their unconditional love, support, and always being there for me, there's no way I could have gotten to where I am today. I will forever be in debt to them for being the greatest parents a son could ever have! I love you Mom & Dad!
