Payne Stewart (1957–1999)
R.I.P.
Golf, reading/writing poetry, listening to good music, experiencing new things such as going on a drive to a place I haven't been before, a new restaurant, etc.
I'd like to meet:
First and foremost, I'd like to meet good people with good hearts and good souls! - - - - Since I already got to meet, talk to, and hug Alicia Keys, I guess I can cross her off my list :-) Beyond that, I'd like to meet Robin Williams, Maya Angelou, and perhaps the Dalai Lama.
Music:
Ibrahim Ferrer (1927-2005)
R.I.P.
I have a wide range of taste when it comes to Music. I like some country, the 80's, the 90's, hip-hop, r&b, neo-soul, old school jazz, some new school jazz, and have, within the last 2 years, found a strong appreciation for Salsa, Latin Jazz, and of course Cuban Jazz!
Movies:
What can I say?... I love movies! I enjoy and appreciate the classics
High Society
Arsenic & Old Lace
Look Who's Coming To Dinner
. . . and even more current day movies. My fav's of all time would have to be (in no particular order)
A Few Good Men
The Shawshank Redemption
Scent of A Woman
Return to Me
Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory
Dark Crystal
Labryinth
The DaVinci Code
well, I guess the list can just go on, and on, and on. . . .
Television:
Don't watch a whole lot of T.V., mostly watch just movies. However, I will say that I'm a huge fan of House, Ghost Whisperer (Jennifer Love Hewitt.... damn she's hot!), Numbers and occaisionally, Alias :-)
Books:
I love to read poetry. . . big fan of "The Best American Poetry of 19xx" series of books! I also loved the Autobiography of Payne Stewart written by his wife. . . you don't have to be a fan of golf to appreciate his life story! I also remember reading a murder mystery about 9 years ago called "The Night of the Juggler"... very good book! I have to admit, classics like "To Kill A Mocking Bird" & "The Grapes of Wrath" were good ones as well!
Heroes:
Without a doubt, my heroes will have to be my Mom and Dad! :-) They truly are credited with making me the man I am today. If it wasn't for their unconditional love, support, and always being there for me, there's no way I could have gotten to where I am today. I will forever be in debt to them for being the greatest parents a son could ever have! I love you Mom & Dad!
