MySpace Codes Have you ever been driving down the road flipping frantically through local radio stations wondering “What the hell happened to rock music?” That’s where Blacklist comes in. A breath of fresh air if your idea of fresh air is filled with nicotine, alcohol and raw, heavy guitar riffs. This band pushes against the grain, defying musical rules, structure and candy coated bullshit. In turn they offer a nostalgic tone mixed brilliantly with the newer progressive/ metal sound that keeps all the demographics in check.. The loss of their original bass player was unfortunate, but they have come back swinging with a new face on bass guitar and a completely overhauled rhythm section. What has changed you ask? Seamlessness. The addition has filled the gaps and rounded out an already established sound. Blacklist is bringing back the basics of rock...period.
