About Me

Thane was formed from three former members of SikSouls. After losing a member they decided to go in another direction. More heavy, technical, and basically it's just in your face brutality. Their influences include everything from Morbid Angel and Lamb of God to Dream Theater and everything in between. Finally after leaving Goodspeed Travis Leonard long time friend and former band mate of Bob and Scott decided to join up. Unfortunately for us Leonard had to accept an offer playing on the road with another band. Relentlessly they regrouped and started doing what they know best. Basically playing music for the love of music. Considering the last band they where in was a full fledged member of Jager music, Dirtbag Clothing line, Sikworld Clothing line, and even Sparks alcoholic beverages at one time they are hoping that making a mark on the national level won't be too hard for them to obtain.

Band Members: Bob Begley-Bass and vocals, Jason Summers-Drums, and Scott Begley-guitar
Influences: Nile, Hate Eternal, Dying Fetus, Lamb of God, Morbid Angel, Slayer, Decapitated, and Opeth.
Sounds Like: A very heavy and technical style of straight up death metal, with some odd meters thrown in here and there. Similar to Dying Fetus and Deicide meets Nile and Opeth.

First show Sept 9th

We will finally be playing our first show at The Hideaway in Johnson City TN. We will be opening for two of the areas most favorite bands. Omega Tribe and Horns of Moses. Come out and show...
