I am Jason Capps , ive played in Nashville since the early 90's. At places like Roberts western world, Bluegrass Inn, Tootsies, and a lot of the places I played are all gone now. Ive also played The Exit Inn and the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree. I grew up In Cut-n-Shoot Tx. where I met an awesome picker Steve Carrasco, who took me under his wing and showed me the ropes sometimes even giving me his gigs so I could be heard. If there is such a thing as a father in music that is Steve for me I could never thank him enough for what he did. I write all my songs and would like to co-write with anyone who will have me. One of my songs was cut in 2000 by the group Br549, they also played it on the Grand Ole Opry that same year. I have done shows with Br549, Dale Watson among others.
