This is the bottom line, Crooked Hat released a Studio CD in 2004 and has been playing everywhere in South Florida at such places as The Culture Room, Sudio A, and was invited to participate in West Palm Beach's "Sunfest" one of the largest music festivals in the entire state of Florida. The band has been playing twice a month for the last 2 years. We believe that we are a creative entity of innovation not imitation. In fact Mikal's side project "The Funky Blu Roots" was invited to appear on MTV's "Viva La Bam" courtesy of Ryan Dunn and "Rab himself" on their Spring Break Finale.
