About Me

I'm 24. I'm a pre-vet student at Austin Peay with aspirations of becoming a fiction writer some day. I'd prefer to write something adventurous. At least that's how most of my ideas go. I work at the High School Upward Bound office on Austin Peay's campus. I tutor in a few subjects, biology, chemistry, physical science, and a little math. I'm also "Overseer" of the students while they are tutoring. The guy who used to do it is in limbo land in terms of being fired; so, I'm picking up his slack until they can fire his ass. I'm almost done with the Spring Term, and will be saying Byebye to Organic Chemistry & Biochemistry in a few weeks. My interview with UTK didn't go so well, and I didn't get in this year. So, I'm going to re-apply again this summer, retake the GRE, and hope for the best the 4th time around. I'm going to be taking Microbial Diversity this upcoming fall as well as Immunology in the Spring. Over the summer, I'll be Teaching with the Upward Bound and taking a class on pottery to get myself back to throwing where I was when I finished the class last year. In the fall, I'm taking Ceramics 2, and then the Glaze course in the following Spring. If any one sees one, let me know if you find a bumper stick that says "Ask Me About My Pots" with a little bowl or vase next to it. Ask about commissions if you want your own cup/bowl in a certain glaze. I'll see what I can work on over the next year.

My Interests

Video Games and Cartoons

I'd like to meet:

Shake it off baby, shake it off

Music:

Calcutta, The Foo Fighters, The Offspring, Rage Against The Machine, Remy Zero, AC/DC, Journey, Queen, Foreignor, 3 Doors Down, etc.

Movies:

Romantic comedies, mostly those from the 80s. (John Cusack) Some dramas/action movies are always great. A good Clint Eastwood Western will always rank pretty high too. I was starting to get into the newer horror movies that have come out, but now they all just seem to be movies about some one being tortured in varios ways. No real "terror" any more; they are more or less just a sadist's wet dream. STILL looking for a good scary movie.

Television:

I don't really watch it any more. I download anime episodes and that gets me along just fine. Law & Order is always up for grabs if it's on.

Books:

If I could have my way, I would literally go broke from buying/ordering books. Once I am done with school and can find a REAL job, I'm going to further increase my library of knowledge, stories, and manga. I will be one of those few people who actually have a Library Room in their house. Sorry kids, you have to share a room. Daddy's books were here first.

Heroes:

I haven't met any one "heroic" enough to be included here. The only ones who come close are all fictional. You're makin' me sad Human Race. Why can't you produce a few heroes for me to feel inspired by instead of ones that are made up?
