Byron

DJ BYRON, from United States of Uganda, came onto the scene in 2000 at the age of 17. Having always had the love for music, that year Byron decided to purchase his first pair of (used) turntables and mixer. He acquired his skills by attending local parties during the weekends, and by studying how DJ's did their thing on radio mix shows and intent radio. He first began DJing African music, but always had an interest in Reggae, Hip-Hop and R&B, so he began to listen to many internet and radio mix shows and mixtape DJ's that in the long run started to influence him. After recording their shows, and collecting their mixtapes, Byron began to practice his skills by mimicking those he listened to, and collected. Among those influential to him are Djs Superplus Movement DJ's, 45 Crew, Funkmaster Flex, Tony Touch, Kid Capri, DJ Dru Nyce and DJ Mastermillion just to name a few. In 2006, Dee Jay Byron got his first taste of on-air entertainment @ his high school radio station, Watertown High School's radio sation. While attending W.H.S from 2003-2006, BYRON, took over the airwaves every second period Monday to Friday by bringing W.H.S and Watertown, one of the hottest mix shows.
