Perfect paragraphs of self worship don't really tell you much about a person. We live in a time where people are constantly praising themselves but almost never have anything to back it up. Welcome to our capitalist society, which is slowly rotting our brains with ideas of how grandios we have to be in order to compete socially against our peers. When did it become a compeition? The flavor this leaves is rather bland. The more interesting people are the ones that aren't afraid to tell you how fucked up they are, and beleive me, most people are pretty fucked up. At least with someone who is willing to lay out straight for you, you know what you are dealing with. You can be a better friend. Sometimes that doesn't always work either but it's better than listening to boring "look at me" drivel that so many poeple express.
Have a drink, relax, chill out, go golfing, play pool (at my house lol), guitar hero, or something that you can enjoy . Try to make it something that won't wreak havoc on you're life. Make a choice that helps you, even if it hurts at first. Be ever so slightly patient and your rewards will be that much greater down the road.
The worst part about life is watching your frirends make choices that don't do anything to help their situation. This is what we get for evolving beyond the common mammal humping any female within reach. I wonder who is better off? The dogs or the men?
