..*I'm 26 years old and live in Indianapolis *I'm happily married to Kevin *Half of my heart is in Heaven...our daugher, Kailyn, was full-term stillborn 04.15.06 *The other half of my heart was stolen by my son, Gavin. He was born 03.22.07, perfect & healthy. *I have Multiple Sclerosis, but it doesn't have me. *I've been dealt a few bad hands in this game we call Life, but what doesn't kill us only makes us STRONGER! *I'm a FIRM believer that Everything Happens for a Reason *I have the best friends and family a girl could ask for, HANDS DOWN *I work at Castleton 4D Ultrasound as a 4D Specialist/Assistant Office Manager and I absolutely LOVE my job! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~Life is too short to sweat the small stuff or take things for granted...I know this first-hand, yet this is one thing I have to remind myself each day. ~ I'm deathly afraid of spiders. ~ I'm obsessed with The Hills. ~ I'm a nice person, but sometimes that doesn't work out in my favor. ~ I'm very gullible. ~ Most of the time, I take things too far...and say things that are gross or weird. ~ I laugh at my own jokes and most of the time I'm the only one laughing...which makes me laugh harder, followed by awkward silence. ~ I have a persian cat named Gizmo (Gizzy) who IS my 3rd child...go ahead, laugh it up, Chuckles ~ I am NOT a morning person.

My daughter, Kailyn."A Pair of Shoes"I am wearing a pair of shoes. They are ugly shoes. Uncomfortable shoes. I hate my shoes. Each day I wear them, and each day I wish I had another pair. Some days my shoes hurt so bad that I do not think I can take another step. Yet, I continue to wear them. I get funny looks wearing these shoes. They are looks of sympathy. I can tell in others eyes that they are glad they are my shoes and not theirs. They never talk about my shoes. To learn how awful my shoes are might make them uncomfortable. To truly understand these shoes you must walk in the them. But, once you put them on, you can never take them off. I now realize that I am not the only one who wears these shoes. There are many pairs in this world. Some women are like me and ache daily as they try and walk in them. Some have learned how to walk in them so they don't hurt quite as much. Some have worn the shoes so long that days will go by before they think about how much they hurt. No woman deserves to wear these shoes. Yet, because of these shoes I am a stronger woman. These shoes have given me the strength to face ANYTHING. They have made me who I am. I will forever walk in the shoes of a mother that has lost a child..... .. .. .. .. ..
