About Me

Dale Chambers formally known as DDigital, D. J. extraordinaire, was born in 1980, in Kent, UK, began to discover his passion for music at around the age of ten, with the acquisition of an electronic keyboard. By the age of fifteen, he had progressed from small beginnings and plinking around, discovering and then realising his passion for producing with oldskool tracker based programmes and 8-bit sounds. In 1998, Dale was heard and then snapped up by a small, local radio station in Kent, where he became a radio D. J. for a year or so. It was whilst being a Jockey for the radio station that his true aspirations became apparent, he upped his game a notch by beginning to mix his own music, diversifying into his own particular brand and experimenting with different sounds. He soon found that the language of music had become second nature to him. trance fans loved his vibe and before long, began to seek him out in the clubs in which he became a regular. In 2006, Dale became the successful promoter and resident D. J. for ‘Trancesation’, a trance event conceived, organised and executed in Maidstone, by himself. Again, trance fans went wild for his music and followed wherever he went namely, the River bar, and the Loft, both in Maidstone. At the same time, Dale worked in other clubs of the genre, in Medway and the surrounding area, steadily gathering a fan base whilst perfecting his skills with mixing different sounds. His dedication to the cause is boundless. Dale has travelled to many venues across Europe, always looking for inspiration from producers he favours; such as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond. He is currently working on his style and continues to perfect his craft. Music is his passion and he continues to pursue his career, ever-hopeful of that ‘one lucky break’ and hopes to stage more events in the future. So far, he has released several tracks on Shot2Funk Records, including, ‘Closer to You’ and ‘On the Edge’. He has also released remixes of some of the huge Trance anthems that hit the nation in the late ‘90s, including Energy 52 - Café Del Mar, and PPK - Resurrection.Café del mar reached 3rd in the charts on one of the leading dance music download stores, trackitdown.net. and had a feature review from the website:“One of the biggest dance tracks of all time gets an uplifting trance coverfrom Dale Chambers! He retains the original killer riff buttoughens things up with a pounding grooveand some wicked subby bass synths.Grab this secret weapon for your set this weekend!”6 of the singles which Dale has released reached the top 20, with PPK – resurrection, hitting number 1 on bubblebeat.com charts. Dale is also getting support from Armin Van Buuren, playing the remix of Café del mar at Nature One in Germany on 3rd August 2009, playing to a crowd of 60,000 people.Dale is currently working on a few projects with DJ _JIM and continuing to promote Trancesation. He hopes to play out somewhere in Europe.Having met Dale, his talent and appeal is obvious. This is a guy who truly gets lost in his music, has an ever present underlying smouldering presence, and will – once heard globally – be huge. Dale offers the true essence of trance. Trance clubs everywhere need to hear this guy. He IS trance, and has already built a back catalogue whilst at the same time continuing to work on new tracks – tracks not to be missed!
