Bakersville Conspiracy

About Me

Get Your Own! | View SlideshowIn the beginning, two incredibly talented guys, Adam Porter and Harold Cooper sat down and just started playing for the mere enjoyment of music. They covered everything from early Metallica to Slayer and Meshuggah. They were reunited with Nate Schofield, years after going to elementary school together, and found out he could throw down some heart pounding bass. Naturally, they asked him to join. They played their first show at Fusion in St. Augustine. However, they had no vocals. Harold, Adam and Nate got on stage and rocked the place out. After a couple songs, Jon DeVane, a good friend of the band, stood up from the crowd, walked on stage and started screaming lyrics out of his head that twisted the mind. Finally, Bakersville Conspiracy had formed. They played as a four piece for 2 years. The played venues in St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Daytona, but something was still missing. Another show at Fusion was booked which is where they were reunited with RayCulbreth, who they had not seen since grade school. They played the show and what do you know, Ray played some crazy solo's. It only seemed obvious to everyone, that Ray was the missing link of the conspiracy's chain. Harold, Jon, Adam and Nate asked Ray to join the family and to everyone's pleasure, he accepted. The guys played as a five piece for a year. Ray then decided to pursue his education and time wouldn't allow for him to fit everything in. The other guys support him 100 percent in his decision and wish him the best of luck. Bakersville Conspiracy is back to a four piece and continue to grow and produce music that shatters the mind.Get Your Own! | View SlideshowTo Contact Bakersville Conspiracy, Please Call: (904) 377-7961 or (904) 315-9927
