DJ Ben Waist

Since moving to the capital around 9 years ago DJ Ben Waist (aka Mr fidget, Mono) has graced many a London club with his selection and mixing skills. Blending a captivating selection of Original Boogie, Soul & Disco, Revival, Lovers Rock, Dancehall, Soulful/funky House, Club Classics, Hip-Hop, New Groove & global dance beats. Ben's aim has always been to play "across the board", high energy, eclectic sets that are always unstoppable party starters!! Recently listed as "A true champion of the London club scene", Ben's passion for music has been inherent since his early teens and is a testament to him supporting some highly respected DJ's & artists. For fast approaching a decade Ben has worked also as a promoter and designer on the side for clients such as Microsoft, Vauxhall & Amnesty International. In recent months he has supported the likes of MJ Cole, Deekline & wizard, The Freestylers, Disco D, DJ Blakey, Ross Allen, DJ Assault, DJ Tayo, Aitch B, U-Brown & DJ 279. Benny is always taking his experience and life as a DJ to different avenues and over the past 2 years has took to the airwaves appearing on two of London’s long running independent Radio stations Select & Flames radio. Ben has recently formed P.A.L.M Sound with fellow DJ and super dancer D'lambert which will focus on promoting world music specifically from West Africa, the Carribean and Latin Quarters. The first official P.A.L.M. night is 'RHUMBLE' and has recently launched in north London & will be continuing to tour around select venues with serious sound systems, so watch this space.
