About Me

The FNK Project is the result of the collaboration between Australian performers Flip Simmons and Kuki Tipoki. A multitalented duo that share a passion for music and the performing arts.Their combined credits include the current Australian tour of The Boy from Oz with Hugh Jackman, The Star Studded Grease the Arena Spectacular, Fiddler on the Roof with Topol, We Will Rock You, The man from Snowy River, South Pacific, Madame Butterfly and more.Commercially they have performed with international artists the likes of Inaya Day and major Australian artists such as John Farnham , Delta Goodrem , Christine Anu , Natalie Bassingthwaighte and the Rogue Traders. , Todd McKenny , Lee Kernaghan , Patrice Tipoki ( Girlband ).Separately they have worked with numerous bands throughout the years. Notably, Flip worked and toured with Australias leading Latin band Mi Tierra for four years as a singer, dancer and flautist. And Kuki the accomplished singer and musician, playing cello, guitar, piano and bass, has worked with various bands and ensembles also working as a session musician. Both trained in all facets of the performing arts in the full time course at Brent Street studios. Kuki also holds the title of "Grand Champion dancer of the World" From last years world performing arts championships in LA. Their eclectic musical tastes and writing style creates a whole lot of fusion ranging from rocky acoustic sets to soaring ballads with a huge soulful sound. I am Elderly :)

When i was knee high to a sugar ant the world was a very different place... It was a world of analogue tape, and film cameras, computers without hard drives and fireworks. I dunno when all that change...
