I was born to the last true Cetra, my mother Ifalna, and her experimentor and my father Professor Gast. Ever since I was a baby, my family was attacked by Shin-Ra soldiers under the command of Professor Hojo, an evil scientist at Shin-Ra. He killed my father and captured my mother and me, to be experimented on. 7 years later, we were able to escape as far as the Sector 7 slums train station in Midgar where my mother lay there dying, and had passed me to Elmyra Gainsborough.When I was 16, I dated my first boyfriend, Zack. We very much fell in love, and spent everytime we could with each other. Until one day he had to go off on a mission... and never came back... I waited for him, day after day, but I heard nothing from him. He meant everything to me, and he just left... I miss him dearly. But I know in my heart that I will be with him again.I then spent the rest of my days selling flowers among the streets of Midgar. I tried to have a normal life, despite numerous kidnapping attempts by the Turks. I usually go to a local run-down church which serves as an ideal hideaway from the insanity of the outside world. Its the only place where flowers seem to grow in Midgar.Then I met Cloud, at first it was a brief introduction, before he had to rush off. I reunited with him again, he came crushing down from the roof of the church, crushing the flowerbed. Poor flowers. Thats were we introduced ourselves fully, and as the Turks came for me, Cloud agreed to be my bodyguard, and has been ever since. even when I was captured by Shin-Ra, Cloud came to save me. I joined him, along with Tifa, Barret and Red XIII, in pursuit of the malevolent Sephiroth.After a failed attempt to foil Sephiroth's stealing of a dangerous materia, I ventured alone into the City of Ancients. Cloud eventually catches up, only to witness a me praying whilst being impaled by Sephiroth's Masamune. It hurt me to see the sadness in their faces as Cloud gives my body back to the planet by releasing me into the depths of the water.Even though i was not with them, I was with them in Spirit. Just before I died, i managed to summon Holy from the White Materia, which my mother handed down to me before she passed away. With this, Cloud and everyone else was abe to stop Sephiroth and his destruction of Meteor.It was 2 years after, and unfortunately Holy has overcompensated in its effects and has begun to infect the population through a fatal illness known as Geostigma......including Cloud, who was maddened by his failure to prevent my death. I appear to Cloud now and then, urging him to move on in life and to forgive himself for the tragedies. I've always tried to 'lend a hand' to Cloud and everyone else. I help Cloud let go of his painful past and encourage him to forgive himself. Which he does when, before vanishing, I smile backat him, as reminder that I am forever a part of the planet and I will forever live in Cloud's heart...
