I figured it was about time that I write something here again, so here it is. My kiddos are getting bigger and bigger every day. It scares me to think that Zackery (our youngest) will be in school next year...yikes! Where does the time go? I am doing home daycare right now and enjoy it for the most part. I get to watch my niece, Izzy, and she loves her Aunt Fay Fay(don't ask!!). Things do get a little stressful at times, but that's to be expected when you're around 9 kids all day. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August...what a shocker! I have since gone through 2 surgeries and will be doing a radioactive iodine treatment the end of November. My prognosis is very good, but it's always scary to hear the words "you have cancer" come out of a doctor's mouth, no matter what the circumstances. The worst part for me right now is remembering to take my medicine every morning. Quite frankly, I suck at it. Anyway, all I can say is "thank goodness for my family and friends!!", especially my husband, Nick. I would be totally lost without their love and support.
