I suppose it is time for an update on this...well let's see...I just celebrated my 2-year wedding anniversary with my husband, JJ, who was my part-of-high-school sweetheart. We live in the very flat, very hot, very humid, and mostly very boring Kansas. I really miss Colorado and all my friends and family still there; but we have adjusted to Kansas and are closing in on the 5-year mark here...I hear it's all downhill after that! I am currently [still] in school at Wichita State University, pursuing my BS in Medical Technology. I'm on the "eight-year plan" (quit laughing), so I should be done by next year. I just started the actual Med Tech program this summer so I have been spending most of my days playing with, or reading about, human pee, poop and blood; surprisingly, I have loved every minute of it (minus the studying part). I am also working in a microbiology lab playing with soil-dwelling microorganisms. Not cancer-curing work, but it has been fun and interesting. I spend most of my time in school or at work, with little time to relax. When I do have time I like to read, bar-b-que and hang out with friends, cook and garden (yes, I garden and I cook...I am disgustingly domesticated at times). I like to travel when time allows and hope to do more when I am out of school. However, I am fairly narrow-minded and see no reason of ever vacationing where there is no beach, palm trees and little cabana boys to bring me drinks! Oh, yea, and we have no plans for mini-JJ's and Sam's at this time nor anytime in the near future, so please refrain from asking :)
