Anti-Social Burn-Outs
"wonderfully brash, sharp and snotty punk … stabbing rock riffs, pumping bass, clattering drums and delightfully gruff, feral vocals spat out with true conviction and attitude"

'Burn Cambridge Burn - An Anti - Cambridge Compilation'
R*E*P*E*A*T Records
First band up, Anti-Social Burn-Outs are excellent, if the 2 songs contributed is to be the spokesperson for the rest of their material. It's punk rock in it's most familiar, and much loved role. Direct and to the point! Their first song 'No Looking Back' is submerged in a taunting drum beat, shards of lead guitar and a vocal that's tailor made for such rants. But second song 'Suicide Mission' is their genius, and this albums strongest point by a mile. Again it's familiar punk, but with a directional melody and intelligent structuring. It's worth buying the record for this song alone!

Anti-Social Burn Outs came on-stage. I was coming especially for them as I had already had a glimpse of their power the night they played before The Pretty Young Things. Let's say I wasn't disappointed at all. They were Wild, just as wild as they were the first time. They pefectly mastered their songs from the beginning to the end. The guitar parts are the almost the greatest guitar part I've ever heard, always swithcing between develish note-to-note licks that would have Mike ness (Social Distortion) flushing and more typical powerchords. They sound like a great punk/hardcore band we need so much, being close to the awesome Born to Lose (no Grand-pa, it ain't no Johnny thunder's song I'm talkin' about), The Distillers and maybe some early AFI with a great outlaw touch. Indeed, if there is one lable they would perfectly fit with, it's People Like You Records which promotes the punk bands who keep a link with the wildness and glamourous side of rock'n'roll. I hope their demo will be out soon because they really have some killer songs (No looking Back, Heads or Tails, and much much much more). While waiting for it, you MUST go on their myspace page to listen to No looking Back and Rock'n'roll Lifestyle.
