My Interests

I love being outside. I have always been very athletic being that I was on Sacramento City League and school swim seams from 8 years old until 16. From there, I got into weight lifting and cycling. My idol, Cory Everson, who was...6 time Ms. Olympia was my true inspiration. She influenced me to take my physique as far as I could and I started competing each year in bodybuilding contests since 1993. After winning the overall at the California State Championships, I decided that I did not want to take my female physique to the next level of muscularity, just for the sole purpose of competiting on the professional circuit. I would have competed at the North American, which is a professional qualifier. The following year, which after knowing who won, respectivly, I can say that I would have turned professional that year. I left competiton for 2 years but during that time, I came to a realization that the years of discipline that I attained through contest preparation was what kept me grounded, and probably out of trouble. The entire sport of competitive bodybuilding taught me that if I could prepare for a contest and do what it took mentally and physically, I could do anything in life that I set my mind to and I thank God for that experience and lesson.Right after the last USA that I did. So I worked my bu.... off to lose a bit of muscle and reshaped my body into a fitness physique. I competed in the Galaxy and other NPC fitness contests.. Honestly, I hated the gymnastic routine portion of it. After my friends saw me crying on the floor of the center of the gym aerobic room because I was in so much pain after pulling my groan, they said "come on, what are you doing this for?" Uhh yah duh.. why?? So from there..are you still reading this?? If so, I'm very impressed if my words have kept your attention this long when you have a million amazingly hot woman to check out and only a click away. big grin...... I found the Galaxy contest and competed with Tori Wilson, what a beautiful girl she is. And shes a great athlete also. Enjoyed that sooo much but when you won't fu... the head of the organization..ummm lets just say..you really get screwed..When it comes to judging time. And I didn't even enjoy it.. That sucks... huh.. just kidding... From 7th place in the swimsuit round out of over 90 girls to the next contest (after politely declining the head of the Galaxy Organization) to coming in around the 50th placing out of 63 ladies, I believe for the finals. Ahhh politics huh? Took a break for another year or two and after a boyfriend said I don't have it in me anymore to compete, I busted my ass for exactly 12 months to get back into bodybuilding condition. I competed in the Las Angeles Classic..drove down there by myself.. Stayed in the same hotel that my husband (who passed away in 1999 from a rare a blood clot from routine knee surgery)and myself always stayed at. The Marina Pacific.... Remember that hotel in Venice guys?? I did the show, won my class and overall. Celebrated my victory by myself walking down Venice Beach. I bought a large, beautiful painting on Venice Beach to remember my empowering experience and I still treasure it. Monet who?? The following week, I competed in the biggest National Level Professional qualifier, the USA... I was in the best condidtion that I have ever been in but man... I was not competing against "women" anymore...The sport had taken such a crazy turn that I was at Cory Everson's exact weigh in weight when she won the Olympia and I looked like a different sex next to my competion... I was too female for my competition. When I walked off stage after prejudging...I was more elated than I can describe. I did what a mentally abusive man said I could not do again.... Came in my best condition ever and more "empowered" than I have ever been in my life. Wow...I Got off on a tangent there huh... Well, I welcome the entire world into my private life and thoughts. If you read this far, I am honored for your interest and I hope that I can be of interest and an inspiration to any woman that has been in my position. My Birthday Party

I'd like to meet:

Here is my ideal "dream man" but don't let this intimidate anyway.Well, I was assuming when I first saw this section that it meant, who I would like to meet on a intimate relationship level until I looked at my friends profile and their response was completely different so I thought I would make my answer a bit more well rounded. So here I go, I have been blessed to have a small group of very close friends. They say if you can have 10 true friends in your lifetime, than you have done very well. So, I guess I can say "my cup runneth over." If I were to meet more people that had similar interests or maybe not even similar interests, but was able to meet more true friends by means of the Internet, I would be blessed. Anyway, onto my wants on a more personal level.I have really learned that the foundation to any relationship is complete honesty, trust and friendship. Yes, I know...easier said than done at times but without that solid foundation...forget it. Cut your loses and move forward before the real damage starts. Once again...so hard to find but I have learned that it does come, but maybe just not overnight. I have made mistakes falling too soon for people that were not completely honest about their intentions and play the "I love you" game for various reasons even before their is a "solid" friendship base. So for me at this point, I am on "slow drive" when it comes to meeting a man for a possible relationship. I am not harden or scorned but my experiences have actually softened, humbled, and enlightened me as to what I truly want and need. A solid friendship base needs to be there for me. If I were to have my "dream man" he would be my "best friend," athletic and "spiritually evolved. I would like a man that has experienced this world on a similar level as myself. He would love me for all the good the bad, the flaws, the past, my present, and support me with where I intend to venture towards moving into the next chapters in my life. Ahh, I better toss in there that he does not mind the sound of two beautiful snoring Bulldogs. smile.I don't know why this happens so much to men and women but it seems that the people that we have the "physical" attraction to, which also happen to be the ones we end up in relationships with...last the shortest amount of time and with the most emotional damage. Then you have your best friends that you have long lasting, awesome friendships with but the physical chemistry is not there. Seems like a cruel joke from above at times.. Still trying to figure that one out...Fun Halloween party with some very neat friends.I dreamed I had an interview with God.“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.“If you have the time” I said.God smiled. “My time is eternity.” “What questions do you have in mind for me?”“What surprises you most about humankind?”God answered... “That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.”“That they lose their health to make money... and then lose their money to restore their health.”“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live in neither the present nor the future.”"That they live as if they will never die, and die as though they had never lived.”God’s hand took mine and we were silent for a while. And then I asked... “As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?”“To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved.”“To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others.”“To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.”“To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them.”“To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.”“To learn that there are people who love them dearly, but simply have not yet learned how to express or show their feelings.”“To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently.”“To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”"Thank you for your time," I said humbly."Is there anything else you would like your children to know?"God smiled and said, “Just know that I am here... always.”

Music:

YOUR BLACK LINGERIE FANTASYParty Pics.. Only in Vegas Baby! I have a pretty wide range of taste in music but is a bit different than at least most of my friends. I listen to New Age, Classical, Modern Jazz and yes...sorry...even Country, which was the music that I was brought up with. Most of my family is from Texas so some of their genes were past on down to me. For example here are the concerts I have been to and are planning over the next two months. Il Divo, (most guys do not know them), Faith Hill/Tim McGraw, Toby Keith. To confuse you even more, I also take harp lessons. I perplex even my friends with my variety of tastes with music.

Movies:

I am your typical girl in that I love the "Lifetime" and "Oxygen" channel. Oh, let me not forget, "Oprah" at 4p.m. I know, what a turn on huh? :) Now, if however, you have choosen to continue to read on... maybe it will pay off..., beyond the desire for "Chick Flicks" brought on by my female hormones, I was able to hold strong and be an individual and still have a huge love for Maffia movies. Bascially, I own most of them. Other then that, the only other movies I own are Austin Powers I & 2. Go figure.. My usual favorite movies are comedies. My least favorite being high suspense and drama. My life is full of enough drama and suspense as it is. Trust me! I need an escape when I lay down to watch a movie.

Television:

My friends are always amazed that I have not seen most popular shows on television. I spend a lot of time reading but when I do watch television I was off the wall channels like the the learning channels, Discovery, TLC, History channel.. Anything that is real. Not a huge Sci-Fi fan either.. Think you can figure this girl out yet? :)

Books:

I have read most of Anne Rice's books. Most of the other books I read are spiritual, Christian or metaphysical. Oh yes, and fitness magazines..
