Love Limits?
genuine love bends, it bleeds, it breaks, but it never leaves....
you can crack it, hack it, smack and rack it, but it never leaves
nurture it, embrace it, lace it or fake it, it will never leave
ignore it, store it, whore it, and it WILL DIE, but it will never just leave
love is a living breathing part of us all, love lives and love dies .... it is not immortal.

True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

Who am I? Well I'm 38 and divorced. I have 2 of the most beautiful girls, but they live with their mom. I finally see that these girls mean the world to me. I lost site of that for a while and had a big detour in my life. I'm back and better than ever. Everyone that gets to know me say that they have never met anyone like me (Not in a bad way and not in a good way, just different. Yes I am different). I was born in Korea but have lived in the US since I was 3 so I'm basically raised here (sorry but no Jackie Chan accent). I love having fun. Love being outside and love being around my new friends. I love people and love to help others. I'm not in any relationship but not looking for one either. I'm not ruling one out but at this time I am finally happy with myself after 38 years and want to be selfish and enjoy it on my own for a while. All those that want to share in my joy are welcome to jump on and enjoy the ride. The first 3 quotes below the count up timer below are sayings that mean alot to me in my recovery. I remind myself of these as much as I can.
I started this recovery for my girls but now it is for me. My girls are very important to me but recovery has to be for myself. So that I can be the best that I can be for my girls and everyone else in my life. I almost lost it but now that I have it again, I will do everything possible to keep it.
I love to write, I write many, many blogs. When I write, I write as things pop into my head and I put them into words. My writings are more of an outline of the perfect storm in my head, the boat being my sanity, or rather my insanity.

..
Remember: "JUST FOR TODAY"
"One is TOO many and a Thousand NEVER enough!!!"
"God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference!"

All I wanted me was a little cornbread,
you motherfuckers.
All I wanted me was a little cornbread.

"Echos"
I am out here...
holding on for dear life to my existance...
Hollow echos??? more like dronings of a dying man
with his head in a church bell, alone in the tower.
I am here, I hear, I cry dry tears...
Weathering the fires of hell...
they lick at my bones...
dry bones, bones with no marrow, no life...
will I cease to exist...
will the dronings stop...
are you there, are you where???
Crawling through the desert of winter...
cold wind breathing across my naked form...
where am I headed? where am I going?
where will I lay when I die???
My heart is pure... or so I think...
am I true, am I true to me, am I true to you???
pure as clean water, pure as good wine,
pure as battery acid...
what will I find???
My body aches for attention...
there is no one to see...
there is no one, not even me...
this hollow carcass echos, hollow echos,
echos but no sound...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Poets and writers. Fellow NA brothers and sisters. Those that are looking for a better way of life. Intelligent people and thinkers who are not full of themselves and are willing to share with me. Firemen and soldiers, especially veterans. Real policemen, not the jerks that have something to prove because they were picked on their whole life. Nurses. Independent photo-journalists. Refugees. Vampires. Musicians, especially guitarists. Those that wish they were musicians. Pretty and/or intelligent girls, or should I say women (but only those that aren't stuck up). Tattooers and tattooees. For that matter, all artists and those that appreciate art (but not the snobby champagne sipping kind). Old people that have something to share and pass on. Kids that have a passion for talking and sharing their thoughts (kids facinate me). Robin Meade. Truckers. Surf casters. Alaskan crab boat fishermen. Adventurers, and their guides. Ted Nugent. Muscle car restorers and enthusiasts. Baja racers. Rally racers. Rock crawlers. 4x4 enthusiasts, not the polished up trailer queens but real 4x4s. 1967 L88 Corvette owners. Aquatic biologists. Tin knockers. Welders and iron workers. People that can do IP addressing and subnetting in their heads and don't need paper & pencil. Roller coaster enthusiasts. Kate Beckinsale. Chefs and good cooks. Those that appreciate chefs and good cooks. Bindi Irwin. Train engineers. The people that can airbrush flames on cars. Mechanical engineers. People that can throw/spin pizza dough in the air. Home brewers. People that have caught, beat up or killed child molesters and abusers (HATE fuckers that mess with kids). People that can do stunts on motorcycles. X gamers. Kite surfers. Surfers. Paragliders. Basejumpers. That Lake Erie snake girl and the mosquito girl from Dirty Jobs. Courtney Hansen (www.CourtneyHansen.com read her bio, she's a motorhead). Jessi from 4x4 extreme (damn, she can weld up some chrome moly). Rehab counsellors. Doctors that have a passion for their work and not in it just for the money. Parents that are raising their children right (especially the ones that are doing this alone). People that read books from the same authors I like. Trekees and Jedis. Terry Bradshaw and Lynn Swann. Queen Rania of Jordan. Whoever the current reigning Godfather is. I'll stop here, I can keep going and going like the Energizer Bunny, oh I want to meet him too... :)

I just found this video and it makes me smile. Not really sure why, maybe the memories, maybe the lyrics. Maybe it was the smile on the girl in the flying nun's hat. Maybe it's just the word, "GROOVY....
