A new start, a new year. Seasons change and so do I. I have had the same "About Me" section for like three years now and I believe was time for a change.

I love any sense of peace from yoga to meditation. Although I admit it is hard to get in the state of mind when you feel like your mind is going out of control but if you force yourself to you will feel great!You can catch me dancing around a fire under the moon,reading,reading poetry outloud to my friends,horseback riding or sitting quietly meditating...this is how I keep sane

I love photography, writing, and painting.

I'm an adventurous woman that has so many goals that one could be concerned on how I'm going to get all of my goals done in a lifetime but hey so far so good. If you come up to me saying " I wish I could do that" I'm simply going to say " Do it!". Life isn't about wishing this, hoping that, just do it...of course if it is moral :-)

I have this connection with people and animals that only a few could understand. I will hug strangers, I'm a touchy girl, and I will smile at you for no reason. I'm always there for people but I'm more on the "tough love" side...thank my mother ;-).

I'm a Massage Therapist. I never thought about being a Massage Therapist but it was a wierd calling. I'm jovial at the fact I got into this lifestyle. Massage therapy has opened many doors for me. It has made me see things in a different light, and it has helped me see deeper into peoples souls. I am going back to school though, and I'm trying to follow my gut. I have a feeling I'm more on the alternative medicine side with a concentration on women health. People call me a healer but I believe I just tapped into that side of myself and I believe others can as well.

I love the rain, I will stand in it and dance; especially here in Vegas when it hardly rains. I'm an East Coast girl by heart, a city girl with a country heart, and I love grass and trees (treehugger I know). I love lazy day convesations, drinking wine at noon, listening to blues, and spontanously dancing anywhere. Usually these settings get me deep in thought and I love it.

I'm an easygoing gal and don't be afraid to talk to me. I have heard it before that people always thought I was snob when they first meet me, which I'm trying to figure out why but if I'm quiet at first it is because I'm observing the situation or people like to say reading who I'm around lol, or I'm thinking and listening :-).

Overall to end this I'm just an artsy freespirit that will always be here to hold your hand. PEace and Love

Yoga,Writing, famous writers, art, famous artist :-), photography, books, dancing, piano, theater(take me or put me in a play any day),coffee, Seattle (never been there but seems cool), new england,rainy days, day dreaming, dancing, crafts, art, museums, libraries,cultures...you know all that artsy stuff :-), also very into womens rights

Maesyn is a beautiful woman

damn this could go on forever, I listen to anything that sounds good, I love the sounds of a piano. I can listen to blues alllll day. Always reminds me lazy sticky days drinking cold tea, waving a fan in my face while sitting on a grand front porch in the south. :-) I'm into indie artist and looking for new artist.

Movies:

Before Sunset, Before Sunrise,Flicka,Practical Magic, Ever After, and Eves Bayou and the classic movie Breakfast At Tiffany's( I LOVE AUDREY HEPBURN) another classic Streetcar Named Desire, ya ya sisterhood, Iron jaw angels, Gia, Thirteen, list goes on but those are some of my faves. I watch alot of old movies too. I loveeee old movies. Indie films, artsy films;films that have a lot symbolism. I look at the little things in films like lighting, colors, where a plant is placed and why. I'm very good at analyzing the little things that make a film and what it means...must be all those Drama classes from high school to college lol :-)

Television:

History channel, travel channel, some shows here and there, documentries but over all the T.V is usually off. Reading is better

Books:

Ha Ha Ha, your going to need more than one page for this answer...To shorten this my favorite author is Nicholas Sparks. I love sylvia plath, Edna st. vincent Millay, anne sexton, emily dickenson, Maya Anglou, Robert Frost,Rilke,Anais Nin,mary oliver,Langston Hughes,Nora Zeale Hurston... man here I go, this question is something if your interested just ask me about books i've read or what authors Ive read.

Heroes:

on people I know personally my mom, grandmother, aunts, I have a very empowering family full of women...very strong and no man kept them under...they always survived with any situation.

Hero's I have never met but admire and love are Alice Paul, Maya Angelou(plan on meeting her one day).

Lavender Earl Grey =Life?

I think I'm allergic to Lavender Earl Grey tea. I love the taste but I always seem to get sick and throw up after I drink it. Why do I keep drinking that tea? I think I want to apply it to life...
