QUINTONIO is a singer, songwriter, arranger, and just an all around performer whose passion for music is heard in every note he sings and every lyric he writes. Music has been a constant in Quintonio's life since he was a toddler singing gospel songs in his rural North Carolina hometown. Although Quintonio is not and was never the typical "church boy", he does however attribute his church singing days to be his first taste of live performance and the platform that he realized his purpose in life....to be AN ENTERTAINER! Quintonio is a graduate of Temple University and shares that alma mater with Bill Cosby, Hall and Oates, Zhane, and Benny Boom (video director) just to name a few. After graduation, Quintonio moved to "The Big Apple" New York City. There he performed as a cast member in the Broadway Musical "RENT". Shortly after his stint with "RENT" he moved to Atlanta, GA, where he now resides, and began songwriting for the Silent Partner Studios writing team created by Daryl Simmons, who wrote and produced songs for Destiny's Child, Toni Braxton, TLC, Usher, Babyface, and Monica. After having an opportunity to professionally write songs for other artists, Quintonio decided that it was time to tell his own story, through music, to the world. Quintonio says...."you can write songs for other artists and even sing background, but at some point the stage beckons and the performer in you wants to share with the world on a different level". With Quintonio's unique vocal style and his lyrical prowess combined with an electrifying stage presence, Quintonio is undoubtedly ready to take music to that next level, bringing a huge fan base with him. Quintonio has toured throughout North America and Europe performing on stages such as Places des Arts in Montreal, Canada and the Aladdin in Las Vegas. Quintonio's theatrical background is quite apparent in his live stage show channeling his inspirations like Prince, Madonna, Janet, R.Kelly, and Outkast. "I love performers that are dramatic-very big very theatrical, but being those things while preserving the integrity of the music. While Quintonio's music is best categorized as R&B/Hip Hop with a hint of Pop, he feels that a live performance of that material should have the energy of a rock show. "I believe that music can be meaningful and full of substance and still be fun and visually appealing when performed live." Music lovers have been begging for a new wind of change to blow through the music industry with innovation, passion, and REAL TALENT.
