I am 25 years old from Cedar Rapids, IA. God has blessed me with 2 beautiful daughters,Tajia (5) and Jayda (3).They are my reason for striving to be better than the best. They give me the strength and motivation I need to continue on.Besides spending time with my babies, I enjoy reading, movies, meeting new people and singing. I am a part of the next best secret in Gospel music, One Praise. My brother Minister Cymaron Dawson was given a vision to form a group of young people consisting of members from Cedar Rapids, IA, Milwaukee, WI and Rockford, IL to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music ministry. And although we all come from different places, denominations or backgrounds we all have come together with "Many ministries, but One Praise." I am also a member of Living Waters Family Worship Church under Pastor Cymaron Dawson, in which I am a part of the Leadership Team as well as a powerful group of worship leaders that form our Praise Team. Keep us in your prayers that God will continue to bless us as we strive to share the gift of salvation and eternal life through Christ Jesus in our community and our world. Heroes:

I have 2 and as much as I admire Martin Luther King or India Arie, I don't consider them my heroes. My heroes are everyday people who may not be well known or famous (yet anyway) but they have and continue to make more of an impact in my life than I could ever imagine. These two people alone have taught me what it really means not to give up. We hear these words all the time, but if you really think about it, we hear it from people who really haven't been through too much, people who haven't experienced what it's really like to struggle and want to give it all up. These are 2 people who have struggled, but have taught me that in spite of what you're going through good or bad, Praise God in the midst of it all, and to always remember that God doesn't put any thing on us that we can't bear. They have taught me, that no matter what it is, go for what you want and treat people good along the way and you will succceed. All cliche's but all things that these 2 people, my heroes have not said, but LIVED. Now if you don't have your own hero, I'm going to be generous and let you use mine, because they have enough love and wisdom for all who desire to strive towards the best. And now the moment, you've all been waiting for...Who are these wonderful people you ask??? My mother Lisa and my Big Brother Cymaron Dawson. Another cliche that holds a lot of truth, I truly wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for them. If you ever get a chance to read this, I hope you already know, but I love you, I appreciate you and I thank God for you being who you are in my life. You both mean more to me than mere words, so I'll continue to do all I can to show you both just how special you are.
