GETTING READY FOR A NEW START

About Me

Well first of all my name is Mayra. I was born in Veracruz,Mexico (JAROCHA, and with an attitude) NEWays, I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, San Benito, TX to be exact, but I unfortunally moved to San Antonio, Tx before my Senior year High School.. (that sucks I know) So I lived in SA Town for about five years and now I am happilly (let's just keep it that way for now)living in Austin. I moved to Austin the last week of Sep. and I'm just getting adjusted. Enough about where I'm from, let's get back to ME.I'm a Virgo, with a Leo Soul, or maybe the other way around, oh well, I am either your friend or your enemy, you choose. Some of my friends concider me some what of an airhead, which I don't blame them, I do have my blonde moments sometimes but that's just every now and then. I love my family/boyfriend and friends. I love to laugh believe it or not, I do have a funny side (but most of the time it's about me). I love ice-cream, but I'm not allowed to eat it. I love to dance. I LOVE to talk on the phone ( I own 2 cellphones by the way). I love to watch TV (THE HILLS, OH YEAH, JUSTIN BOBBY)I love shopping, but at this moment I'm not allowed to.I love Road Trips, even though I haven't gone on one yet, (huh, maybe I should try it and c if I still love it).NEWays, I love life and every little detail that comes with it. I am a stubburn person, but my boyfriend is working on that. Sometimes,(almost always) I make mistakes that I have somehow learned from (but yet, I keep tripping over the same stone).I have a bad attitude, sometimes people are afraid of speaking to me for that reason but as my grandfather says, "No quiero que me tengan miedo, si no que me respeten." (I don't want you to be afraid of me I just want you to respect me). All I got to say people that know me dont really have to read the ABOUT ME and if you do not know me then don't bother requesting me as a friend cause I will not accept you. And that is all I got to say, don't like it well "SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THAT"

My Interests

I am interested in people who have a good heart, and who enjoy life as it comes. I am interested in honesty, I like a person who is honest and who I can trust. I like to say things how they are and I like a person who will also say the things how they are. They say a true friend is that who doesn't lie to you, but yet tells you what you do not want to hear (THE TRUTH). I am interested in learning knew things as they come along, I am not afraid of learning something new, (unless it goes against my principles). Get Your Own! | View SlideshowWell, I did mention b4 about the prince charming, I didn't get a prince, but I did get a SOLDIER, which I love, DIDN'T REALLY LIKE HIM BEFORE BUT NOW I DO.. Can't be picky it was a B-day present, what can I say? He gave me and my friends a lap dance so he could get my num, and after he got it he was ignored all weekend until I accidentaly picked up. Oh well I don't regret it, it's been the most wonderful nine monthes of my 21st b-day. I would also like to meet my guarding angel believe it or not I do believe in them.

Music:

I enjoy listening to country.I also like listening to spanish music, bachata,hip-hop, rock (en Spanol), Banda(Banda el Recodo), and almost anything that will make me want to sit down and think about that song.

Movies:

I love The Lion King, up to now,what can I say? Im sure it'll still make me cry. It'soooo cute!! I like any movie that will make me cry. I am kind of a romantic person. :> I also like Mistery type

Television:

I don't really have time for that now in days, school and work keeps me really occupied , but when I do I like movies from Lifetime Network, Charmed, Law in Order SVU MTV reality shows (Only if they seem interested the first time),Style Network, Sometimes House, Heroes,

Books:

Any good book recommended by a good teacher. The Locket was one of my favorites, I read it my freshman year in high school.

Heroes:

God, Family, Real/True Friends that understand me and are always there for me, and also those who haven't stabbed me in the back. Believe it or not, I know who you are, you just think I'm stupid and that I don't know, but I do.
