First and foremost, God is my father and best friend. Music is my biggest passion; what I enjoy and what I do for a living which is more than I could ever ask for. Jazz is my favorite genre, by far, and I can apply it on just about everything I play. When I was four I started piano. Then picked up violin when I was seven and stuck with it for a few years. Learned banjo as well and kept it more as a hobby - I like bluegrass. Then when I was twelve I picked up the percussive arts - marching snare, concert snare, mallets, timpani, and drumset - and took lessons for that and continued with piano. Music Composition is another one of my many talents as well as something I really enjoy. I started writing when I was fourteen, and started writing more seriously when I was seventeen. Recording and mixing is something else I found myself doing in high school. My friends and I had a studio - a nomadic studio - and we would record quite a bit, and we found some new avenues through it. Singing and acting is probably next on the list. Not a fantastic singer, but I know my range and can stick to it well. Did some of that with my church choir back at home and loved it thouroughly. Also did some acting in High School. It was something new, but I found that it was something else I was good at, so I stuck with it until I graduated. And when the time came for a musical, well, that was just cool. Then along came the Marine Corps, which is freakin' awesome. I am currently a Corporal and am stationed in Quantico, Virginia. I am also in school, on the path headed towards eventually an MD in Neurology/Psychiatry.
