I rock! I am careful with people's feelings. I laugh, alot. I am really into forgiving. Forgetting, not so much. a few things i like: MUSIC-- especially songs that connote feminine vulnerability from heart break, they make me cry in the best way. monogamy. when God plays tricks on me-- like ill say "im having such a horrible day" when i cant find something and as soon as i say it aloud, ill find that thing. it makes me think God is saying, "uhm, get a grip. you know i am always here for you". love- watching truly happy couples interact with one another, whether old or young, that kind of tenderness is really touching. newborns. chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. I love strawberries. green grapes. and oranges. and bananas. fruit, okay? i love it all. manners. chivalry. being polite. holding hands. and doors. the color pink. touching. hugging kissing (no tongue). intimate displays of affection. and the like. i think the word is romance? teaching/lecturing. i really really like the intellectual energy of the classroom. the South. fish frys. parking spaces. warm weather. bojangles. trees. quiet. grass. dogs. water!! i love showers. fiji bottled water. pools. warm rain. bubble baths. washing dishes with my bare hands. the beach. i just really really love being immersed in warm water. giving hungry people my left overs. holding doors for people. giving spare dollars to people. helping women with strollers. i think the word is kindness? paper towels. the good kind. i like drying my hands with a good paper towel and keeping the piece for hours. i like holding it in my hand. if you ever check my pockets or my sheets you will find zillions of used paper towels in them. my brothers. clean hair. eyebrows done. nails manicured. i like looking and feeling neat and "done" all the time. i feel prettier and more productive when this happens. presents, especially shiny ones! :-) why am i here? quite simply, TO SERVE. to make lives better. healthier. happier. one community at a time. my professional life meshes well with that mantra. i am kind to people because I believe injecting goodness into the world is a part of human responsibility.
