About Me

Well...I was born. Let's start there. I was raised on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio. I really think that in a past life I was born sometime in the 1800's. It's a rare occasion to find me without a pair of cowboy boots on or without wearing a big ass belt buckle. I would prefer horseback to any other means of transportation. I’m not into trends and I have no fashion sense at all. I’m okay with that. Jeans and a t-shirt suit me fine. I drive a big ass Chevy Silverado and have a picture of it on my mantle. I am married to the greatest person in the world. I play golf. A lot. I like to think of myself as outgoing and fairly easy to get along with, although I tend to be brutally honest and say exactly what’s on my mind without thinking. I’m the person who verbalizes what everyone else is thinking. Some things just need to be said. I can also get moody at times but I have a hard time staying that way for long. Contrary to what everyone believes, I’m an introvert by nature. I tend to avoid crowds (but don’t mind them) and enjoy spending time by myself. I’m stubborn and hard-headed. I love taking risks. I Irish Danced for 10 years. I hardly wear my seatbelt, but I’m getting better. I am probably the hardest person in the world to offend but can’t stand it when people are rude and impolite. How hard is it to take two seconds to say “thank you” to someone? I don’t know how some people function in this world lacking manners and brain waves. Where do these people come from? Who raises people like that? I just want to know how some people got as far as they did in life without natural selection running its course. I rarely answer my cell phone. I can’t stand it when people don’t use their turn signals. I am obsessed with ironing my clothes. I iron my socks. I could survive on sushi and diet Dr. Pepper. And Chipotle. I watch NASCAR and I'm not afraid to admit it. I like projects but rarely finish one right away because I have project A.D.D. I’ll start one and before I know it I have 17 others going. I enjoy sour mash whiskey and am particularly fond of Jack Daniel’s. I was raised Roman Catholic, but I do not consider myself religious. Atheist isn’t the term for me; maybe agnostic is better. I do like discussing religion and hearing different views. I will never condescend anyone’s views. You are entitled to believe what you wish, as am I. To each his own. Although I do not have religion I have read the Bible cover to cover twice. I am a perfectionist. I love to travel, be it by plane, train, boat, car, horseback or any other means of transportation. My favorite destinations include Zadar, Croatia, Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Nashville, TN and Dallas, TX. I am a crack-shot with a rifle, shotgun and most other types of firearms. I have completed a marathon. I am Croatian. I still play original Nintendo and refuse to play anything else. I wouldn’t quite call myself a Democrat…or a Republican. I fall somewhere in the middle. I don’t vote because I don’t believe in electing an official that does not share my same views. I know that sounds idealistic (and will probably never happen), but until I can find someone on the same page, I won’t vote. I catch hell for it, but…as I said before…to each his own, right? I have a hard time letting go of things; physical, psychological, or emotional. I try not to let that show. I have a tattoo. I am injury prone. I may seem low maintenance but I’m obsessed with my hair. So, anyway…with all that being said and much more left out…I’m still trying to figure out how a Croatian kid from Cleveland rides horses and wishes she had been born in Texas in 1880.
