JKL Productions started back in June of 2006 when Jon and Katie, who are currently 15 years old and twins, were visiting their cousin, Lucas, who is currently 14 years old. They were bored with Lucas's early thirteenth birthday present: a cheap digital camera, which they used to begin filming short comedy videos for fun. They decided to post the short videos onto a YouTube channel, where they expected to maybe make a few people laugh. At first barely anybody watched the videos, but over time the views of their videos kept rising and got them to where they are today. Where do these kids want these JKL videos to take them? Jon and Lucas want to take on an acting careers, whereas Katie wants to do something with film, but isn't sure yet.
