Add to My Profile | More Videos
A history of the band can be seen under the "Members" section of the profile. A full band bio/history will be typed out and added in the future.
If anyone has any live pictures from the Purgatory re-union show please send me a message. Id really appreciate any help getting them. Of course, you will be credited for any help with obtaining the pictures.
Anyone who contributes anything (pictures etc) to this page will be credited for it. There will be no stolen info/pictures, copy-and-pasted biographies, or anything like that on this page, because thats really lame. If anything is used on this page in the future that is from somewhere/someone else it will be used with permission and they will be credited for it, because people deserve the credit for thier finds, and shouldnt have thier info copy and pasted around the internet and have other people take the credit for it.
Ive added all of my history/lineup info to Purgatory's page on Metal-Archives . Thanks to Joe Keiper for the "Live in 1985" picture on the page and the Purgatory logo on the contact box!
The pictures of the band actually tied to the tracks, and the 5 individial band member pics that are on this page are from the Tied To The Trax record sleeve. The picture under "Sounds like" is the label that was originally on the sealed copies of Tied To The Trax. If you have any questions email me at [email protected] or send me a message on this profile. You can also contact me on my personal MySpace profile ( http://myspace.com/stormofsteel ).

In 1988 Perry joined Attaxe . Purgatory would then break up in Mid 1989. Jeff Hatrix started his band Hatrix , and Greg Perry would leave Attaxe to start a band with Kenny Easterly (called Zyklone), which (after recording a demo) went through lineup changes that resulted in the formation of Mystik...all before the end of 1989.

Kenny Easterly is now drumming for Nightcrawler, and Mark Alexander is now in the country/northern rock band The Not So Good Ol' Boys . Jeff Hatrix and Dave Felton are now with Mushroomhead and Hatrix . Andy Boyer is currently singing with the heavy metal cover band S.O.S. , the 60's/70's rock cover band The Miller Brothers , and his other acoustic project Hollow . Purgatory plans to write and record new music in the future, and eventually re-release thier full-length "Tied To The Trax" on Auburn Records , with bonus material.
Influences: Purgatory's sound is very and original, although it could be described as a mixture of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, with some hints of early Jag Panzer (Ample Destruction-era).
Sounds Like: Kick-ass 80's Power/Speed metal.

Record Label: Auburn Records
Type of Label: Indie
