Grrrl Zines A-Go-Go is an all-women workshop group based in Southern California. Since 2002 we have been facilitating workshops in community venues and college campuses in our region. We focus on the empowerment of young women through the production of fanzines and self published works.

An Exhibit & Workshop On Underground Publishing
Curated by Grrrl Zines A-Go-Go, this is not just an exhibit, but an active exploration of zine culture and production, including a "Scrap Lounge" in which visitors can create their own zine. Zines are the print media of an "alternative" culture that turns out not to be so alternative after all. Self-published & without censorship, zines are raw culture, not mass media that relies on the wealth of advertising for its editorial decisions.Opening Reception:
