Adverbs/Corey Mix was born and raised in Chicago. He got into rap by way of hip-hop. During that time, he was heavily involved in breakdancing. He also attended Tuskegee University where he met nationally known DJ Caesar from Hitmenproductions and DJ Scream who is formally the DJ for D4L. Hitmenproductions took over Tuskegee's college campus by throwing unique, diverse parties which were a mix of down south, east coast, and reggae music. Later on while attending Tuskegee, Adverbs formed Goht Records & Entertainment. The artists on his label consist of Adverbs himself-Rapper/Producer, J Whoa-Producer, Damarcus Wilkins. At this present day and age, Adverbs still competes in breakdancing competitions, freestyle rap competitions, and is currently working on his debut album.
