The breakthrough for Misty Mono came in 2005 when the demo for “Celestial Love" hit the rock scene in Göteborg like a bomb. Misty Mono has hints of British alternative rock with heavy weights on the melodies and tunes. Well played and beautiful, professional and hard hitting all at the same time.Misty Mono was in the “Global Battle of the Bands†contest and won the Swedish final in 2005. They were then chosen as “Best New Band of Swedenâ€. The world finals of “Global Battle of the Bands†brought them front and center at the legendary Astoria Theatre in London.
When they returned home, they contacted Nordic Records and were offered a record contract, with their new EP being released Spring 2007.
