About Me

As long as I can remember myself, I was next to this instrument, so it was unavoidable to start studying the guitar from a very young age. My general studies took place in Piraeus Conservatory as the years were passing by, I begun to realize, that the only thing I wanted to do in life, was to be a humble servant of music, and guitar!
I have composed pieces for solo guitar, for two guitars, guitar studies, music for guitar and violin, and also composed music for movies. Recently, I composed music for the short film Olympia, a film by Vassilis Ksilaras, which was honorary distinct in the 9th International Short Film Festival of Drama for the female actress’s Olia Lazaridou performance.
I was invited by the National Conservatory in Santorini several times, to give Master Classes and solo performances. I had many different music collaborations, with a variety of instruments, performing repertoires, from Chamber Music, to Musicals, and had also my hand on Jazz!
Leaving behind over ten years of performance within Rock bands, with my friend and guitar soloist Michalis Brouzos, we created the Animacorda guitar duo, with which we had, and keep on having, very successful appearances, all around Greece. The Animacorda guitar duo was also an honorary guest and performed, in the VII International Guitar Congress-Festival of Corfu/Greece, on August 20-27, in 2003!
In September 2004, I registered for a specific Harmony class of Madrigalios Music school, under the guidance of Mr. Spyros Klapsis and I had the honor to work for the famous play Guernica (Theatre Lab Company-London, National Theatre of Greece) composing the play’s OST.
Apart from that, in September 2006, I registered in Mick Parker’s MA class at Kingston University, on “Composition for Film and TV”! I currently live, study, teach and compose in London! Nowadays, I am finishing with the music for an animation movie made by Sayuri Tatsumi and starting working on a film directed by the Australian Director Nicholas Nedelkopoulos. I've also composed the original soundtrack for a short film directed by Annetta Laufer called "The Recording. The film has been nominated amongst seven more, for an award at the "Kodak Short Film Showcase 2007". Finally, I composed two pieces for the original soundtrack of the documetary film "Tea Time", directed by Alexandra Moskalenko.
