About Me

Number 8 wire studio, is a studio that I started to give bands the opportunity to get really good Recordings at great prices.
I have been building up the studio for a few years now and have a real good setup including, Pro tools (digi 002), Neve Mic Pre's, HEAPS of plugins and a whole bunch of amazing software and mics including: 2 x NEUMANN U87 1x Shure KSM 44 (best condenser mic shure does) 1x shure beta 91 1x AKG d112 1x shure beta 52 2x akg c1000's akg boundry mic 3x shure sm 57's 1x shure beta 56 a 4x Shure beta 58s 5 x Audio Technica Condenser Mics (great on toms and overheads etc) 2 x Rupert Neve Preamps SANSAMP bass rack Unit dbx tube channel strip Guitar Pod ADAT light pipe converter (alows 8 more channels to be recorded at once)
Also i have a dw drum kit which bands can hire for an extra $100, and a marshall 100 watt jcm 2000 and a kickass Marshall 6100 which anyone can use at no extra charge.

Here's the deals...
$300 a day, or two days for $500. For albums we can figure out cheaper rates the more days you do. Extra days mixing are $100 a day OR per song. Of which is enough time to get a great sounding mix.
