This song always reminds me when things get rough not to sweat it. I've realized that people or things which are meant to stay in your life, stay, & those that leave must have served their purpose or will return. What's true remains~the rest falls away bc you no longer need it. And when things suck & everything feels like work ~its just a life lesson in motion. If you trudge along thru it, not resisting it, when you've learned what you're suppose to from it, it always ends & things do get better. A big life lesson for me, that probably exhausted the universe trying to teach it, since it took about 5 yrs of change for me to get it~lol
The vid reminds me of when I packed my bags & flew off to live in the UK. It brings back that sense of ultimate freedom ~ an amazing feeling of new beginnings & change ~I look forward to it again someday. Also that great feeling after traveling, you return home & back to your Love ~even when your travels were to your native land & your home is now in what you once called a foreign country ~That was a kool realization for me.

On Seeing The 100% Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning... gotta share!!! : ) It begins:
"One beautiful April morning, on a narrow side street in Tokyo’s fashionable Harujuku neighborhood, I walked past the 100% perfect girl.
Tell you the truth, she’s not that good-looking. She doesn’t stand out in any way. Her clothes are nothing special. The back of her hair is still bent out of shape from sleep. She isn’t young, either - must be near thirty, not even close to a “girl,†properly speaking.
But still, I know from fifty yards away: She’s the 100% perfect girl for me. The moment I see her, there’s a rumbling in my chest, and my mouth is as dry as a desert."
Someone was sweet enough to put it online & added a kool layout to read it in.

Only 1500 words, its about love & lost opportunity.
I love it bc its such wise advise delivered in such a sad but beautiful cautionary tale.
Not to doubt your heart & soul, realizing that your preconceived ideal of a mate, may not be perfect for you.
The moral: Don't tempt fate. Fate is a busy energy for fuck's sake! It builds a one time wispy portal of opp. so when you're heart & soul say YES!!! ~don't analyze the pros & cons for an eternity. No one knows the ending from the start so don't doubt your initial feelings if they are powerful about someone. Its your soul speaking so Listen! & Just get off your ass & take the leap through! ~lol~
Well...Murakami's telling of it, is far more poetic & touching, but I like the 'get off your ass & just do it' summary too : )
Other Favs: Anne Rice: Vampire, Mummy & Witching Hour Chronicles,
Romeo & Juliet (lots of Shakespeare), Bradbury, E. Gorey (favorite illustrator, story-teller & humorist), Vonnegut, Gary Larsen still makes me piss myself

My Grandparents~
They were devoted, nuturing caretakers in my life. They raised me as one of their own children. They provided a loving, stable home & comfortable upbringing for me, full of generosity & unconditional love. W/out them, life would've been very different.
Although they are gone now, they live on inside me & are in my thoughts each day. The example they set influences every decision I make, every action I take, how I stand up for what I feel is right, how I take care of myself & others in my life, who I choose to keep close, my sense of honesty, devotion & work ethic, as well as my appreciation for life & the beauty of nature.
My grandfather set the best example of what a good, loving, faithful man is & taught me to have respect for myself so I'd never settle for anything less in my own life.
They loved each other, their family & me so much, they set a beautiful standard for how to live life & raise a family.
