this is a worthless column.. television and its embracing of reality tv garbage has become idiotic and redundant....Honorable mention goes to AMERICAN IDOL. a show that has successfully ruined the image of musicians for the new generation. the old values of creativity, uniqueness, talent, skill, and diligence and have been traded for "the one hit wonder" and the best face to put on a 100ft billboard.
recently have been addicted to reading TIME magazine. They are very critical of Bush, and infromed on world issues, and gets me exposed to alot of info i would have otherwise been ignorant of. Not bad for being owned by multi-national conglomerate powerhouse, AOL-TIME-Warner.
independance is a virtue.. dont keep idols...follow your own path and ideals... someday if you become a hero to another, dont abuse the position. their future may depend on your charactor. give them hope.
