Jay Williams is no stranger to the music community. Known for his groove and musical since, Jay work with many musicians and singers that all have good things to say about him. Jay started playing drums at the tender age of 3 along side his dad who was a phenominal organist in the Washington D.C. area. Playing in church helped cultivate his sense of music and love for the drums. As he got older he explored other styles of music such as Jazz,Rock, R&B,Latin,and Country. Jay started playing in jazz clubs at the age of 18 and that's where he got the chance to meet other musician's that were doing what he wanted to do professionally. Those experiences led him to work with many different artist around the world like Yolanda Adams,Ben Tankard,Richard Smallwood,Bobby Lyle,Gerald Albright,Will Downing,Kurt Whalum,Jagged Edge,Shai,Stephanie Mills, Myrna Summers,Norman Brown,Najee,Vesta, Phil Perry,Marcus Johnson,Mike Phillips and the list goes on. Jay also has been blessed to work in the studio with many gifted artist,creating and arranging music which has become another passion in his carreer. Jay gives all glory to God for the gifts he has given him. His prayer is that his music and gifts will be a blessing to all.
