Life Without Warning

New emerging rock from the boys of jersey

About Me

What happens when 80's rock collides with a radio-friendly post-grunge approach that is aggressive and forceful yet melodic? Life Without Warning was formed in Clifton, NJ on July, 2006 by David Marin (vocals, piano), Andrew Rohloff (bass), Peter Tlatelpa (guitar) and Dan Zimmerman (drums) The group was originally called Visions of a New Day,a trio that lasted from 2004 until transforming to a 5-man lineup four years later. The interaction between members was flawless. It seemed that fate had brought all of them together.Having such diverse backgrounds, Each member had their own special influences that would fuse their music to create a sound that gave meaning and passion. Song Writer/Vocalist David Marin is influenced mainly of childhood experiences. Having been born and raised in Costa Rica. And then moving to the US at the age of 12. The adjustment of location and the opportunity to experience new cultures fueled many of the creations of many songs. Seeing the world from different places gave new meaning to life and a new perspective on things. The songs range from world issues such as war, politics, peace, unity. As well as Personal demons, love, and all the trials & tribulations we as people face on a daily basis. Films also play a major role in the music. It seems many of the songs have extremely thematic elements. Over the top orchestra and strings to emphasize on dramatic moments in the songs. Melodic keys that express pain and the beauty that comes after the pain which is growth & knowledge. Its a soundtrack to their life. Music that tells stories and lyrics that enable you to visualize and understand. Once all these ideas were set in motion,The band quickly began to create music, and that eventually brought them into the recording studio 9 months after getting started. They met with Jonathan Bross, Owner of Sound Over Sound Productions. They recorded 5 tracks, and immedietly began doing shows anywhere and everywhere. A few months later, David Marin was introduced to Dan Begley. After a few months of rehearsing with Danny. It seemed as if it was meant to be. Danny was officially part of Life Without Warning. As time went on and the band found their sound. Producer Jonathan Bross brought to the band's attention the issue of the drumming. The band went again for a second time in the studio to record 5 more songs. But this time, the fusion of perfect sound was not present. The style of the band had changed and the drumming could not keep up with the changes. The repairs for the drumming was beginning to become costly and the band was forced to either find a studio drummer, or replace him completely. The decision was made to replace the drummer and all shows had to be cancelled. Dan begley's childhood friend, Pat Mosca had recently moved to Clifton, It seemed fate was once again at hand and Pat immedietly expressed interest. The band had a couple of practices with Pat and without hesitation welcomed him to the band. Not even one month after playing with new drummer Pat Mosca, the band was offered a chance of a lifetime. Starland Ballroom, a popular venue in New Jersey. Was looking for a local act to open up for Stone Sour & Sydonia. Life Without Warning was picked from numerous bands and on August 24th, 2007. They opened up for Stone Sour. Now, with many new fans. Life Without Warning continues to play to many audiences in New Jersey and will stop at nothing to play for the entire World. Life Without Warning's popularity is increasing on a daily basis, their passion for music will not go unnoticed. They have a message to share with the world and people are ready to listen. It will not be long before you hear their music on radio stations across the US and across the world. Their journey has just begun.
