My Interests

Music and sports play a major part in my life. I used to sing in a local rock band but have gone legit. When not working I work out. Ultimately I would like to convert my passion for environmental economics into a career, but that is going to take a few more years of school.

I'd like to meet:

People to party with, chill with, philosophize with. New and unique people are what make life interesting. Also, if she is out there... I'd like to meet "her." You know who you are. The smart, sweet, fun, wild, pretty girl on a collision course with my future. I'll be waiting patiently ;)

Music:

I don't like everything but I like quite a bit. I listen to everything from rock, to pop, to hip hop, techno, and the occasional country. Yes I said it, I sometimes like country. I love going to shows, finding new bands, and singing.

Movies:

I like COMEDY! Hot fuzz is my current favorite. Action is also good... I am a guy, what do you expect? Some suspense and mystery, and I'll admit indy romance stuff like Garden State, Love Actually, and Eternal Sunshine are in there too. Not to mention the occasional adult entertainment... HEHEHE.

Television:

Family Guy... DUH! Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Colbert Report, Scrubs, The Simpsons, Flight of the Conchords... you get the picture. If it's witty, sarcastic, or just painfully funny I'm all for it.

Books:

Currently reading the entire Hairy Potter series. Yep.Social commentary tends to be what I read most these days. Things by the likes of John Stewart and George Carlin tend to apeal to my liberal side. I also like learning about what is going on around me so books like Freakanomics catch my eye. Beyond that the occasional fantasy isn't too bad... go Ender's Game.

Heroes:

My parents are the closest thing to heroes I have.I admire those who do good for no reward or in the face of pain, for the world will often ridicule those who do for others with out themselves in mind. Thanks to those who are so selfless and to those who strive to be. It's a shame there aren't more faithful or selfless people in my life, but I know they exist and I strive to be that way every day.

My Blog
