My Interests

I'd like to meet:

as many people as I can. It makes the good ones really stand out...

Music:

Since the invention of the ipod, I no longer really have to make this distinction, but for you I will quickly generate a list of whatever comes to mind... Ben Folds (and the Five), Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Joss Stone (do I sense a trend?), Amon Tobin, Imogen Heap, Keane, a huge variety of classical artists that I am not even going to pretend that I could spell, Beck (especially the new stuff and of course Odelay), Bjork, Postal Service, Cake, Jon Brion, Soul Coughing, Count Basie, (by this point I'll feel bad to forget someone...), Jamie Cullum, Miles Davis, SiA, Iron and Wine, Smashing Pumpkins, Remy Zero, Zero 7, Death Cab for Cutie, Xavier Rudd, The Streets, Nada Surf, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, James Blunt, The Shins, Gorillaz, Radiohead, Panic! at the Disco, Pink Floyd, Stan Getz, and for those who insist on reading through completion... you get the slightly blushing part of the story... Billy Idol, Garbage, Joni Mitchell, INXS, Styx, Moloko, Michael Jackson, Eric Prydz, and Cindy Lauper... Oh, and how could I forget Ashley Simpson!!! She's my fav!

Movies:

This list could get rediculously long (unlike the music list), so it is edited down to this... Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Life is Beautiful, Eternal Sunshine, Amelie, Fight Club, Monte Python and the Holy Grail, Love Actually, About a Boy, The Princess Bride, Dancer in the Dark, Chocolat, and the sound of a voice trailing off...

Television:

The Office, Six Feet Under, House, Monk, (whispered Oz and Seinfeld reruns)

Books:

Currently Chuck Palahniuk's Diary, but I recently got a laugh from Augusten Burroughs Magical Thinking. The Count of Monte Cristo is still one of my favorites. Since I don't get much time to read, this won't have to change often.
