Lp2 is a modern hip hop producer, yet incorporates the magic sounds of the 70'ies Soul sounds and the classical Jazz which is truely recognizable in his beats.
Lp2 started DJ'ing in the South of France in 1997 where his love for turntablism transformed from the walls of his home to the clubs of Marseille, Avignon and Toulon. However the need to develop the sounds and his style brought him to production in 2000, where he started producing for various French mixtapes before producing for more established artists and labels. In 2002 Lp2 took part in "Printemps des Lycées", a high-school music competition and was awarded with "Best original composition" for a jazz song containing turntables and rappers.
In 2004 Lp2 linked up with rapper Dernier Pro and together they established a longterm relationship of releasing, touring and music making.
They performed in spots like Francofolies de la Rochelle, X-Mas Jam in Trier, Germany and other festivals all over France.
Lp2 produced and scratched on Dernier Pro's release "Vision" and "Loin de vos statistiques" which were both celebrated underground French releases.
His network of concious Jazz and Soul MC's grew, and he remixed and produced for Sofa So Good, Melodiq, MC Tia, ALX, and was also approached to produce on more experimental hip hop projects such as Grem's album "Airmax" in 2006, where he prodcued the critically acclaimed "Pessimiste" featuring Sako from Chiens de paille.
In 2006 Lp2 moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where he became MC Tia's main producer and DJ, producing several beats for the release "Super Fresh Remix Mixtape", as well as soundengineering at AMG studios and touring with MC Tia in France, Sweden, Denmark and Tenerife.
He is currently working on the next Dernier Pro release, MC Tia's EP featuring Mr. Complex, Venezuelan group System and French rapgroup R.S.P.
He is also working together with MC Tia and DJ Bobbybob on a jazz release which will be recorded in Tenerife early 2008.

Apart from production, Lp2 also does all the cuts for the artists he collaborates with, and is involved in the realization process of their music, as he also mixes and masters the tracks.
Together with established DJ Graded in Denmark, he is now preparing to enter the DJ World in detail, and is currently focusing on taking part in upcoming Turntablism competitions.
The sounds and beats of Lp2 are highly excusive in the sense that he is also a cratedigger, and spends a lot of his time treating his samples like babies.
Soul, Jazz and Bossanova are the main ingredients of his beats, however the beats are up-to-date and extremly well fitting for MC's to rhyme over.
