About Me

Who we are... Well, we're writers. At the moment, we're executive producers and creators of "Women's Murder Club"-- a tv show based on the James Patterson book series. Before that, we were Supervising Producers on "The Shield." LOVE "The Shield." Happy to not be working on it for the final season so we can just watch it as fans. Of course Liz's husband (Adam Fierro) is a writer/exec producer there, so she knows all the scoop anyway. But, best of all, we're the authors of a YA book called "Bass Ackwards and Belly Up," and the sequel, "Footfree and Fancyloose," which will be out in the spring. BABU, as we call it, and F&F are about four best friends who decide to take a year off after high school to pursue their dreams. Here's what some folks are saying about BABU:MELISSA DE LA CRUZ (author of, among other things, the Au Peres series, and Blue Bloods): "Funny, wise, heartfelt, and hilarious!"BOB FISHER (writer, Wedding Crashers): "If more people followed the example of the women in this book, we'd live in a better and more interesting world... In the meantime, read this book. It's hilarious, smart, and cool."CARRIE KARASYOV & JILL KARGMAN (authors of The Right Address, Wolves in Chic Clothing): "Becca, Kate, Harper, and Sophie-- a more grown up Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants team-- share some of the same questions and crossroads as women in their twenties and thirties, making their imspirational , fun adventures easily relatable to women of all ages."PUBLISHERS WEEKLY:"Alternating the girls' perspectives, dynamic co-authors Craft and Fain wryly convey four different but equally bumpy rides toward adulthood. Full of romance and adventure, laughter and tears, their story is a vibrant reminder that veering from the straight and narrow road doesn't always lead to a dead end."VALERIE O. PATTERSON (Children's Literature):"In this 'chick lit' for older teens, the authors capture the humor and angst of being on the cusp of adulthood and what it means to follow a dream."We should probably confess that Melissa, Bob, and Carrie may be biased, since they're friends. But we swear we don't know Valerie O. Patterson, or anyone at Publishers Weekly!
