I graduated from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College with a degree in Pastry Arts in February '08. Just got hired on as an apprentice pastry chef down at the Beach. Really excited to start the job and work in a real, well-stocked kitchen again. Brian, the love of my life, is back home (and looking dead sexy) for good, finished with his masters degree in IT. So life is looking up. When I'm not working, I like to hang out at my favorite watering hole, the Bier Garden. Best selection of beers anywhere around. I'm a big fan of Stouts. I love going to shows but haven't seen anything worthwhile come through town. Would love to see Mogwai, Belle and Sebastian and the Yeah,Yeah,Yeahs. Not too impressed with a lot of the new band that are out there, but really dig Vampire Weekend-their album is great. I learned to knit a year ago and am hooked. I just learned how to knit socks, I swear I'm turning into june cleaver, but hopefully with an edge.
