I started doing stand up right after high school in Atlanta GA, and then started working the road after about three years of playing clubs in the Atlanta area. I quickly got a spot on "Show Time at the Apollo" which prompted me to move to New York for a short time. Realizing I was not ready for a true New York winter, I started working resorts in the Cayman Islands, St Thomas, St Maarten, and a stint in London. It was at this point clubs started closing all over the country. I started doing cruise ships and casinos for almost five years, always thinking of one day moving back to New York. In 1998 I finally made the move with a few thousand and some old contacts to try and make it as a New York comic. In 1999 I won The Aspen Comedy Arts award for "Best New Artist" By 2002 I had done Premium Blend and a Comedy Central Presents Louis Ramey, The View, and an appearance on the Tonight Show. I started working for Nick@Nite as Host of the "Road Crew" and stopped performing on the road for four years. When the show ended in 2006 I started targeting the college market, that year I did over one hundred college performances and won the 2007 APCA award for Best Standup performer. In 2008 I was a contestant on Last Comic Standing 6 and made it to the final five. Since then I've won the 2009 APCA award for Best College Performer, nominated for a MAC Award and hired to be one of the new host on TVLand Prime Fridays at ten.Professional MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider
